Here’s a gift for you that will really rock your world 1/5/2007
Posted by Brett McFall in : General , trackbackHappy new year to you!
Well I’m looking forward to an exciting 2007. And to start it off I can finally reveal a secret I’ve been sitting on for 7 months.
This little-known husband and wife team just made over $65,000 in 30 days from home! And guess what? They work around 2 hours a day. Love it.
Want to know how they did it?
My interview with them is my gift to you.

Hi Brett,
I haven’t seen “The Secret” myself, but I know very well the principles.
Actually, if you get very focussed on what you want, then your own action should naturally follow. If people believe otherwise, then they’re not using the principles properly. You wouldn’t have to “make” yourself take the action or think about - it should just happen.
The Universe probably will provide, but only to the degree that you take one step towards it and it will take 10 steps towards you.
But more than that, you must release any resistance you have to receiving what it is that you want and resistance to taking the action required.
I think you’re quite right to say that people are likely to feel something unpleasant (not sure if guilt is it) if they get something for nothing = no effort. More than likely we’ve been brainwashed into believing that we don’t deserve goodness and happiness without struggle, which, now that I think about it, is a complete oxymoron. Maybe life could be effortless - but not with the usual mindset and emotional makeup.
Life is potentially effortless. But at the same time we live with a level of density that requires some initial push to overcome the inertia.
The key, as far as I understand it, is to get into a space where you’re able to receive that which you SAY you desire. You must let go of any resistance to it, and then allow yourself to make a modicum of effort towards it. In reality - most of us, most of the time, either don’t really want what we say we want (too busy being comfortable in our comfort zones), or we either simply don’t believe we’re able to have it or deserve it.
And, even better than all of that, is to just stop desiring things or wanting to change things. That’s when you find true freedom and joy without sorrow.
I’m not there yet, but then again, maybe I’m happy enough in my own little dramas!!
Jane
I agree with you about too much airy fairy stuff.
Yes, I believe that your thoughts affect your feelings and your actions. If you think positively and focus on the right things it can HELP you achieve it.
But no matter how much I “imagine” and daydream about being tall and thin - it ain’t never going to happen (I’m 5′4).
In any event, being a religious person I believe that there is also a serious “God factor” involved. If God decides to make me a millionaire it’ll happen even if I sit around in my pajamas all day (although it’s highly unlikely that He will decide to do that if I DO sit around in my pajamas all day!)
If God decides that I won’t be a millionaire then no amount of daydreaming, or work, for that matter, will matter.
Bottom line - I agree with Brett that we have to take control of our lives and take ACTION. I disagree in that I believe that we are only responsible for the actions we take. God is responsible for the results. There are alot of things out there that are just NOT in our control.
Hi Brett, I agree that you DO need to WARN people about this philosophy. It’s ben around for years and I personally experienced the POWER of the formula after reading ‘Joe Karbo’s’ book ‘Lazy Mans Way to Riches’.
(He called it ‘Dyna-psych’ but it all boils down to the same thing.)
Anyway, I practised the method as instructed, and my life just SPUN on it’s axis. This was back in 1986. People I didn’t know were phoning me up, trying to GIVE me money so that they could be a part of what I was about to do.
I felt so powerful, and things were happening so quickly. (Actually HAPPENING not visualising) that I offered friends and aquaintances the opportunity to buy into my future success. Not because I needed the money, but because I wanted to SHARE what seemed like the ultimate LOTTERY win.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, the system worked TOO WELL. Things soon got out of hand and I was having to turn people away.
(I was offering 1% of any future earning I might make for just £1,000-). I wasn’t giving receipts or telling ANYONE how I was going to make my money, but for some reason, (and I haven’t seen ‘The Secret’ but I can only imagine it would refer to what that reason was) people ‘trusted’ me, and were begging me to take their £1,000-’s.
As I said, I had people who had heard from those I’d invited to participate phoning me to jump on board. After accepting just £8,750- (yes, I sold less than 1% to some who couldn’t afford the whole amount, but who were dear to me), I stopped accepting money, it was like I’d opened some ‘Pandora’s Box’.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I decided I didn’t want all this power that had somehow been placed ‘within me’ by following Joe Karbo’s ‘Dyna-psych’ technique, and I gave everyone their money back and carried on working as a plasterer.
The strange thing was, EVERYONE told me to keep the money, that they’d be happy with just the 1% of whatever I made in the future anyway as a plasterer. But I explained that it felt dishonest of me to accept money from them when I DIDN’T need it. So they all took back their money, but totally refused the interest I wanted to pay them for the short while their money had been sat in MY bank account not theirs.
Several months later I spoke with all of them individually and asked them WHY they were prepared to just GIVE me their hard earned cash, with no receipt, or any explanation as to HOW I was going to make their money. The answer they ALL gave me, was that they just felt ‘compelled’ as though they were ‘hypnotised’ in some way and didn’t feel able to refuse the offer.
Now I’m no hypnotist, and if I were, I’d certainly not use it on my friends and family, but the ‘Dyna-psych’ method IS a self-hypnosis technique, and the sheer POWER it gave me then has scared me off ever using it again. So Brett, I think your warning to your readers is ABSOLUTELY appropriate. ‘The Secret’ may hold more POWER than most of us could actually cope with. But ‘pe-warned’ could enable more people to utilise the universal law of attraction in a more ‘measured’ way.
Good luck in all you do. You are one of the very FEW people I feel can be ‘trusted’ in this internetty world, and thanks for having me on your list.
Pete Moring.
Which in 1986 was a nice sum, and I was going to give away 40%
Hi Brett,
I am living testament that “The Secret” works…
I’ve been aware of the Law of Attraction for many years, but failed to use it “consistently”
After watching “The Secret” it seemed to put it all together in a way that gave me the final piece of the jigsaw puzzle…
As you say in your post… (I started to take massive action!)
In a nutshell… (and my nutshells are big, so this may take a while)
I created a very specific plan in my mind to find a programmer who owned great internet marketing related software, but needed a little help on the marketing side.
I had no idea how it would come about, I just believed it would, saw it felt it, smelt it (if that’s possible)… you get my drift.
In short, I was living it as if it already happened.
And guess what?
As unbelievable as it may sound for a non believer, within two weeks after writing out my dream, I had exactly what I was looking for…
A Product Developer with a great internet marketing related software.
He’s such a great guy to work with too, that we’ve now become really good friends, chatting with each other on Skype everyday about our next projects.
By the way, after re-doing all his website from a design and copywriting point of view, we raised $24,000 in the first 10 days of it’s release… And sales keep trickling in everyday ever since.
I’ll be honest with you though… 50-60% of that went to our affiliates, but that’s not the point here.
The point is this…
What Brett says is 101% spot on!
I was so motivated after watching “The Secret”, in fact…. I watch it, or better; said leave it running in the background while I’m working everyday.
Now what was I going to say?
Oh yeah…
I was and still am very motivated as the Law of Attraction has become second nature in my life, but I would never have found my new friend and partner if I had not taken the “massive action” Brett mentioned earlier on in his post.
It’s so true what he says…
I used to just dream about big things, but never took the… (and forgive me for this, but allow me to plus what you said Brett…)
“CONSISTENT MASSIVE ACTION” necessary to attain my dreams.
I used to be the kind of guy that took massive action for a few weeks, then gave up and moved onto the next thing…
Note I said… used to be.
In closing, it really doesn’t matter how many softwares, tools, and tactics you have, or how many trainings, webinars, or even seminars you attend, or even how many times you visualize, recite and talk about your goals…
Without taking (CMA) Consistent Massive Action, you’ll be fighting an uphill struggle all the way… And that’s a fact as real as the bald patch which keeps getting bigger and bigger
Ok, that’s it…
Let me first thank Brett for providing this great blog and allowing people the opportunity to air their comments — and leave you with this thought…
It’s what I live by and boy does it work gangbusters…
“What people think or say about you, is really none of YOUR BUSINESS, ya just gotta do what ya gotta do!”
Take care and have good one.

Brett, what a wonderful post! And here’s my view… I do believe in this ‘airy-fairy,’ stuff as you put it, and that thoughts are things, and it is possible to manifest whatever you want without very little action, BUT usually for most people that is too much for them to try out so you are right in saying that most people need to get clear on what they want, and then take some serious action!! A wonderfully informative, clear and thoughtful post, as ever! You are a beacon of light, and ever-so practical, which is hugely appreciated.
Peacefully yours,
Carrie Eddins
Hi Brett,
Just so that you know: THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE WHERE IT SAYS “God helps those who help themselves.”
The truth of the matter is that God helps those who CANNOT help themselves.
But, even moreso, God uses US…people…as his “body” on earth. We cannot turn around and say that God is doing nothing to help when there is enough food in the world to wipe out starvation, yet it is controlled by 20% of the world and not used to feed the starving. There is enough money in the world to eliminate poverty, yet it is held by 20% of the richest people in the world.
It is mentioned that you’re not really a religious person yet there are some pretty strong views expressed about religion. Plus GOD is refered to quite a bit.
I’m sorry Brett, but if there’s going to be references to religion then those “in the know” need to at least be consulted with. Business tips, ideas, and products aren’t shared with us unless knowledge of them has been attained. So why is religion different?
I FIRMLY believe that ACTION is a prerequisite, but we who are able have a corporate responsibility to those who are not yet able.
I am building an internet business from the ground up with next to zero money because of my extremely low income. It has also taken me over 45 years to develop the confidence I need to pursue my dreams and what I believe in. My dream, and this is MY OWN dream, is that I can develop multiple streams of income and develop wealth that I can use to not only provide for my family, with an abundant lifestyle, but also to fund community projects, missionary work that helps the poor, etc. etc.
SO I FIRMLY BELIEVE IN ACTION. Yet I see so many people who see themselves as worthless and lack so much, including confidence, due to circumstances of life. I also don’t believe in the idea that “they’re poor and because they won’t get off their __________ and work!” Some people can’t take action yet or are so used to thinking and seeing things negatively, sometimes by total choice, sometimes by lifes knocks, that thinking positively just isn’t in their vocabulary.
Please don’t get me wrong, I attended the World Internet Summit in September 2006 in Las Vegas and met you personally -
(by the way, to everyone out there, UNLESS YOU GO TO THE WORLD INTERNET SUMMIT, you’re just going to spend another two years trying to learn what you REALLY need to do, so stop waisting time and book into the next one! - You’ll never regret it!).
I REALLY admire you Brett and I relish every word of advice you give, but please either don’t bring religion into the equation OR make a commitment of your life to God and learn what it’s REALLY, REALLY all about.
I agree with Pete Moring when he said that YOU are one of the very few people who can be trusted in this internet business world, and I also thank you for having me on your list.
AND, like I learned from you at the WORLD INTERNET SUMMIT, “Don’t do anything without promoting your business site along with it.”
So here it is:
http://www.thequickandeasyguide.com
and my blog site:
http://www.watchmebuildacompany.com
(Which is what Mark Widawer from the Summit recommended I do - which was worth the admission and flights alone - along with your talk of course!)
William Sinclair
(You also promoted the power of the “P.S.” - so here it is also):
P.S. - Thanks for being a “REAL” person.
Interesting and nicley written post Brett.
Everyone is a believer and I can tell you what your religion is in a few seconds.
Religion is simply the adherence to codified beliefs and rituals.
Tell me where you spend the majority of your money and in 99% of cases that will be your religion and you will defend it as strongly as any other religious person.
The secret is actually how you apply those beliefs to your life and this will then determine your thoughts and ultimately your actions.
I disagree with you Brett that you need to take massive action.
It is the little things that will effect your life far more and it is the things you do constantly that will provide the greatest results.
What do you do and think every day!
Look at the athelete, successful business person, good mother or the poor. The common thread will be always in what they consistantly do on a daily basis both in thought and action.
If you want your Internet Business to succeed (and I guess this is what we are ultimately talking about) then you must be consistent. Do something every day in relation to your goal.
Let me give you an example of what I mean.
I had a thought that one day I wanted to move to Thailand and teach young people Internet Marketing to help grow my business.
That thought a few years ago could have been blown away into the cosmos so it is not just the thinking that is the secret.
I then started to plan and research so the thought was birthed into an idea. It is like becoming pregnant and though I am not a woman I do understand the process.
As the idea started to take up more time and effort I reached various road blocks where I had the opportunity to abort or continue on.
This is really where the difference between success and failure resides. I started to invest in the concept of going to Thailand so it became part of my routine untill a few months ago it manifested into something I concentrated on everyday.
Here I am right now typing this from a coffee shop in Thailand with my new business set up and students arriving in a couple of weeks.
I guess the massive action takes place at birth. That time when all your thoughts and actions culminate in what started as a thought comes into reality.
I guess most of us know how important it is to get a medical check up every now and then but would be lucky to spend more than a minute organizing our thoughts and writing down our dreams and desires and then putting them into some sort of order.
Its called mental hygene.
Your action today is to sort through your thinking process and pick some things you want to have happen in your life. Write them down and get pregnant.
Consistently do something to make it happen and I look forward to hearing of your success.

You can only successfully handle a few at a time so be ruthless and throw away anything that does not
Brett,
Good stuff. A lot of people got the whole thing wrong about dream and reality.
I’m glad you wrote this.
