5 days to go … 9/9/2006
Posted by Brett McFall in : General , trackbackIÂ woke early this morning (at 4.30am and couldn’t get back to sleep - which is okay because it was 3.30am the night prior - hopefully 5.30am tomorrow as I get used the time zone!) … it’s Saturday here and went for a walk/jog around the resort.
Yes the buffet’s are amazing. Vegas is famous for them. You know what I love about their breakfasts here in the States? I love their “biscuits and country gravy” - wish we could get them back in Australia. But it’s a killer clear day (hopin’ to get down to that pool later on this afternoon actually).

So what’s on the cards today? (other than that pool!)
Well today I need to finish off the manual that we give attendees at World Internet Summit. I create it personally for every event so that it’s current and has every improvement that we make along the way. So I plan to spend about 4 hours on this laptop below…

What’s Tom Hua up to today?
One of the big parts of the “Internet Challenge” that we conduct at every seminar (where we set up a product and market it across the weekend) is the emails that have to be pre-written… the webpages that have to be pre-designed. Why? To save time on stage. Otherwise attendees would be falling asleep in their seats.
See, making the money online is the exciting part. But actually doing some of the internet side can be boring. So we spare the attendees the slow stuff, and take care of mundane parts prior to the seminar. So that …. hopefully … when we promote the product that we create from the Thursday of the seminar through to the Sunday, people buy the offer and get massive value. So this is what Tom is doing today.

And last night a bit of Mexican food didn’t go down too badly at all. And yes, he’s drinking a Margarita (such a tourist!
Hopefully if we both finish our parts early enough today, then we can meet up later and take this little baby for a spin…

Isn’t she a little beauty! Perfect for getting the wind in your hair … well, i think I remember what that used to feel like.
Talk soon!
Brett

Brett,
I met you at WIS in LA last year and loved the content you guys delivered! This will be fun to watch the work leading up to WIS LV.
Enjoy the pool and enjoy the car. Be sure to get your chocolate bars after lunch too! (You meet so many people, not sure you’ll remember that reference to lunch in LA in 2005
)
Warmly,
Gail
Hi Brett!
The blog looks great, good use of the video tool. I’m looking forward to learning everything I can at this summit.
Thank-you!

Brett,
Enjoy yourself in Las Vegas mate!
I wish I was with you guys, as this is the first WIS event I havent spoken at in ages, but my pregnant wife would not have been too impressed with me if I packed my suitcase and said *honey I am speaking in Vegas with Brett and Tom*
Anyway, hope all the attendees listen, learn, take copious amounts of notes, and then go home and *IMPLEMENT* what they have got out of the WIS *IMMEDIATELY*.
It is no use going to a seminar, summit or anything of a similar nature, and not going home and implementing the information straight away.
The experts you have are the best… the venue in Vegas looks superb… the internet is well and truly open for more marketers each and every day… so go for it everyone… just do it :)
Seeya soon and have fun!

Ho Brett, Hugh from the UK. I came to the recent UK WIS seminar and I’m making money using some of what I learned there, so thanks very much for that.
I’m sure everyone who attends the Vegas event will have agreat time. I’ve visited Vegas for work most years since around 1990 so say Hi to the place for me!
The behind the scenes stuff is interesting. It’s good to remind ourselves that, as David Cavanagh was saying, that you do have to take action, so seeing you working on the seminar ahead of time helps underline it.
Wow what a great lineup you have for WIS Vegas 2006.
After WIS Sydney2006 it took me 5 months to really get a roll and finish a product to sell online totally automated and following what was taught. That was after 2 years of wasting my time flitting from one internet project to another.
WIS2006 in Sydney was my defining moment thanks to the speakers that you had at that event, and a turning point in my life to make a change.
Can’t wait to see more of the leadup. Good luck
Aaron
Hi Brett & Tom,
Via Las Vegas Baby!
Nice work Brett, your blogs looking and working really well.
It’s been 18 months since I attended my first World Internet Summit in Aussie 05 and I now work full time on the Internet. The best thing is the Internet is still young and there are loads of opportunities for people to catch a wave online.
***Super Tip - WIS Las Vegas is a great place to start!
It’s all about ACTION and Never Giving Up!
Have Fun

Looking forward to our event, Brett, and I’m already dreaming of lovely mid-90 days and sneaking out to the pool when I’m not speaking or networking!
Hey Brett! you ol’ movie star - love the vid!
Great blog… What an excellent idea to show the behind-the-scenes and before-the-event stuff, it’s a good indicator of some of what goes into an event like WIS - hats off to you and Tom! See ya Thursday…. Cheers, Karen
Great stuff Brett… nothing like “being there” but this is a close next best things.
All the best - you and Tom are showing the World how to prsent seminars and inspiring some of us “old hands.”
All the best
Just love reading your blog Brett and I really wish I was coming to Las Vegas too. I attended WIS 2006 in Sydney and am now plouging my way through a course I purchased at that seminar. I’m really enjoying it and when I’m finished and the money is rolling in, I’m going to attend ALL the seminars you guys put on around the world.
Hey Brett… Wish I was there mate! Just can’t keep up with you guys. Need to get that internet cashflow up a little higher and I’ll be making it to every event (I think it’s been 4-5 WIS’s so far).
Anyway… say hello to Elvis for me (I think you need one of those little Elvis dolls on the dashboard of your new wheels mate - and how about some dice hanging off the rear vision mirror!). I can feel a video coming on - don’t let me down OK?
Hope to catch up again soon and have a great event.

Enjoy!
G Day Brett,
( Haven’t called you that for a while),Just sitting in Rainy old Sydney and loving your work from sunny Vegas. Give it heaps.Keep us all posted and be safe.
Cheers Matt & Dani.
Hi Brett
With my TWO tickets, booked and confirmed, for the Vegas gig, in “my pocket” (and my new Aussie passport all ready to GO) …. I’m complimenting you on your blog and content —
having just returned home from Gympie hospital ….
my left leg now hanging-up in a sling …
I had an encounter with a cut-off metal-pipe slicing into my lower leg.
What a timing !!!!
Shall have to join the next WIS ….. whereever she may be !!
Looking good, the red Audi … and YOU, of course
Wishing you and the WIS and all the participants much fun and success ….. and a smooth and pleasant Anthony-Robbins-style-ride !!
Love and smiles and much metta,
Helga
Hi Brett,
Miss seeing you guys, but by sending outI my kid Michael, he will be there to irritate you in my place.
just kiddin..
I wish WIS and everyone the best. I know what this information has done for me, and I know you will have another outstanding event.
Much success and come visit the lake house in Georgia someday!
Hi Brett,
Really looking forward to the video updates over the coming week - a great idea. I met you recently at WIS in London and am really gutted that I can’t make it to Las Vegas - the hotel looks amazing !!! Don’t burn your head. All the best for a great seminar, and as David mentions above you must take as many notes as possible, and get started as soon as you arrive back home.
Cheers from the UK,
Jon Moss
Jon,
Yes, you are exactly right.
Brett and Tom could line up the top 100 motivational, inspirational, educational and most brilliant Internet Marketing experts in the World, and yet the only people who will make huge inroads and dollars from the information they receive are the people who take immediate action!
Repetition is the mother of skill, so should not people keep implementing and repeating *EXACTLY* what is working… over and over again?
This is basic common sense I feel!
Lets hope the Las Vegas attendees are go-getters, and they get to the WIS all pumped up, and when they leave the WIS they implement everything they can within 48 hrs!
I sincerely hope this event rocks
David Cavanagh
hi Brett
let me know if you find any stars from the casino show
a few tips
keep a camera handy, with a long lens
look discreet, maybe put on a wig!! (joking)
otherwise walk up to them and say
“you talking to me”…on second thoughts they will probably throw you out..you might be mafia..
have a great time in LA
Wow,
That is a big cookie.
I wish I could be there, but my “selfish” daughter wouldn’t understand my missing her wedding
