THE MCFALL REPORT

The World's Best Advertising Secrets - MADE SIMPLE

Hello my friend,

It's my opinion that one of the best choices you can ever make in this life is to:

Learn how to write sales messages

Why?

Because to put it simply, in most cases the thing which is standing between where you are now and what you want is.... MONEY.

You either want to have more things ... do more things ... have more freedom etc - and ultimately, money will let you do this. Yet so few people know how to produce money on demand.

If you wanted to create $1,000
out of thin air TODAY, could you do it?

If you can, then congratulations to you. You have a system or a technique which is very powerful.

But if you can't, then why can't you?

And wouldn't it be great if you could? Think about it: if you could actually create money on demand, how would your life change?

How would you feel about yourself? About your future?

How would you feel if you could create $1,000 today? Seriously ... how would you FEEL? How would that impact your life?

For most people it would make a HUGE difference. Now, $1000 is not a large sum of money ... it isn't going to end your money worries forever. But the ability to create that sort of instant money IS a life-changing skill.

Which is why EVERYONE should become a copywriter. Even if you've never thought of becoming one before. YOU NEED TO BE ONE. If not for yourself, then for others.

Do you know one of the most
common questions I get asked?

“What is the best way to market yourself as a copywriter and get clients fast?”

I want to tell you something.  Everything I teach you in my Ad Pack is about actually writing sales messages.  It’s a very valuable tool.  Allowing you to:

1) Write advertising for yourself, and

2) Write advertising for other people.

In fact, if you want to generate money very, very quickly, writing for others will be the fastest way to do it.

My little-known secret for
becoming an in-demand copywriter

You need to see yourself as a product. Not as a copywriter -- but a product.

Why I say that is because business owners (the people that copywriters help), quite simply want to know how to use their marketing tools (Yellow Pages ads ... newspaper ads ... emails ... and the internet) to make extra money.

And you, as a copywriter, with the ability to be able to write sales messages, are then one of the products that they need to use in order to do this.

In fact, you have the power to make every one of those marketing tools work much, much better than it usually is.

So, you need to see yourself as a product.

Let me tell you how you need to think
if you want to make tens of thousands
of dollars a year as a copywriter.

Realise you’re NOT in the ad writing business. This could be one of the biggest lessons I can teach you.  You’re not in the ad writing business.

What you’re in is ... the business of making entrepreneurs much more money.

And when I first learned that, that’s when my whole career changed.  If you’re going to approach someone and say, “Let me improve your ad,” it won’t excite them.

But if instead you tell them:

“I’m going to show you how to make 3 times as much money as you’re currently making in your business, and I’m going to do it in the next week,”

...that’s when you get their attention, and that’s how you can actually earn the bigger money, simply because of how you rephrase that concept.

Here is the guaranteed way to get your foot in the door of any business, even if you’re a beginner:

You want to offer a critique and put a dollar value on it.

Here’s the idea:

If a business owner, whether they're online or offline, wants to know how to make more money, you simply need to be able to offer them a free sample of what you do.

For instance, if you have my Ad Pack program, you have more information there than most business owners will have in the next 10 years.

So by offering a critique of their current materials, it allows you to do 2 things.

1) It allows you to check them out and see whether you want to work for them, but also

2) It allows them to check you out too.

You may not like them. They may not like you. If so, good. Move on to someone that is a better match. You don't have to stay with any client if you don't want to - there's plenty out there. Life's too short to be forcing yourself to work with people that cause you grief (this is another lesson in itself ... and makes your life so much more enjoyable)

What you should charge for your time

What you want to do is put a high value on your skill.  What I’m saying here is if you’re going to put a dollar value on it, I’m not talking about $50 or $100.  To be able to sit down with someone, maybe over the phone or in person for half an hour, you can easily place a value of between $200 and $500 on that time.

You might have realized by now that if you know how to write a headline, for instance, you can increase someone’s profits by hundreds of percent.  And that could turn into thousands of dollars.

So, if they were paying you $500 for half an hour and you revealed that secret to them, that’s a very good investment, no matter what.

And that’s what I need you to do.  With the skills I’m teaching you about writing sales messages, you need to be able to have respect for yourself and charge accordingly, and you’ll actually get better clients.

In fact, the more you charge, the better clients you’ll get.

How do I know that?  Well, because I've done it.

Well I first began writing for clients, I started off charging $100 here, $100 there - and to be honest the clients were a pain the arse. I was valued the same as the plumber who was coming in to unblock their toilets.

Yet... I was helping them make thousands of extra dollars in their business - not making the S-bend work better.

So I thought, stuff this. I'd rather work with people that don't worry so much about the pennies their spending ... and more on the dollars they want to make.

So I started charging $1,000.  I simply added a zero.

That's all I did.

At first, mentally it took a little bit of time to get used to charging that much to write an ad. But overall, I was good with it. Because bottom line was, I was going to give them their money back anyway if the ad didn't work.

So whether that was a $100 or a $1,000 made no difference to me. Except if it worked, then I'd be making 9 times what I was originally.

Of course, I knew my stuff. So 90% of the time what I wrote was going to work anyway. The exact stuff I teach in my Ad Pack.

I was still providing the same information, yet the client quality went through the roof.  Suddenly, they were saying, “You must be the expert.  I’ll pay the $1,000 and I’ll let you run the show.”  And that’s where you want to be at.

Next step on your copywriting journey ...
here's what you want to do:

Once you’ve got that, you want to get some testimonials about your skill.

What we’re talking about here is how you can become a copywriter, how to earn some money.  So as we've just covered:

1) You offer a free critique.  Put a dollar value on that critique.

2) Reveal ways they can improve their marketing (most often, at the end of the critique, they ask you "So what's next?" And of course, you writing their advertising is exactly what's next, right?)

3) And then, your main goal is to get testimonials, so that you can promote your ability as quickly as possible.

One thing for sure, people love to read about how good you are before they use your services.  They don’t like to hear YOU telling them how good you are. But they do like hearing it from others.

So testimonials are that third-party reference, and they help you get the PAID jobs coming in very, very quickly. It's like a snowball effect... the more testimonials you get, the more work you get ... then you get more testimonials and more work etc etc

One of my past students, Stephen Georgulis, is now charging $10,000 to write a sales letter when, a year ago, he was hardly able to charge $100 just to write some headlines.

And because of the results he's been able to get ... and the testimonials he's built up over the past 12 months, he can command $10,000 every fortnight for writing sales messages (that's how long it generally takes him to write an amazing sales letter).

Hello? Did you hear what I just said?

$10,000 a fortnight!

In fact, his website is: http://www.thecopywritingninja.com

Goodness, as I write this, he's in the UK speaking for 90 minutes to a class of 25 people each paying AUD$5,000 to be in the room. And what's he speaking on? COPYWRITING! How quickly your life can change, right?

Do you now realise why I'm saying you need to become a copywriter?

So I really want to underline that for you. Even though this whole copywriting ability is to help yourself earn a great income, you can help others earn more money too.

A great income for yourself and great sales for your clients. A true win/win.

Here is the surefire way to make your client love you and recommend you to others:

It’s a very simple rule.  Here it is.

Don’t let the client rule you.

This is your area, not theirs.  What I mean by that is there’s nothing worse than having a client work with you on a copywriting project, where you’re writing some ads, and they come along and say, “I think it should say this, I think it should say that.”  That’s the worst situation of all.

Even though you might think what you really want is a "team deal," and work together on this project, that’s not how it should work at all.

You are the expert in this specialised field.  And by learning the secrets that I’m teaching you, it means you can now give advice with confidence.

The ideal relationship should be this:  the client should say:

1) “Here’s my money, here’s the job, here’s the problem, please go and fix it.”

2) You come back with a solution, and they try it out.

Simple as that.

Unless you can get that from a client, it might be time to look for another one.  That is the relationship you want.  Otherwise, there is trouble ahead, I can tell you that much.

A client who wants to work with you on this and doesn't let you lead the way and do what you’re good at will be a bad client and a real frustration for you.

That might sound a little bit out there and a little bit different, but it’s actually the truth.  And that’s based on about 17 years worth of experience.  You actually don’t want everyone as your client.  What you do want is the right client for you.  And there are plenty out there who will let you do your thing.

And in the process, they'll profit madly because of you.

There are plenty of books around on the subject of copywriting. You should look for them.

But if you want to get on the fast-track to becoming a highly paid copywriter ... and be given all the short cuts on a platter ... simply - get my Ad Pack. It'll be the best investment you ever make.

P.S. Don't you wish they'd teach this stuff in school to our kids? Wouldn't it make such a difference if our kids were taught how to market themselves and help others market  too? Let's hope that one day it comes true ...
